Erica  trained as a physiotherapist in Holland and has been working as a physiotherapist in New Zealand since 1988.
Her main interests are muskulo-skeletal areas, breathing pattern disorders, oncology and lymphoedema therapy
She uses a variety of treatment modalities from manual therapy, massage, exercise prescription, gym sessions , one on one Pilates

The focus is on teaching you how to manage your injury or condition and this most often involves being given a home exercise programme.

You may be referred to your general practitioner or and orthopaedic surgeon in Takaka or for Xrays and ultrasound in Nelson.
You may also be referred for specialist treatment in Nelson in necessary for example the hand therapy department or orthotics department.
