CLASSES FOR WOMEN WITH CANCER
FIT FLAMINGOES CLASS
fitness, fun, circuit training, strengthening.
Classes are held on Tuesdays and Fridays at the Masonic Lodge in Takaka from 12-1
The classes are funded by the Nelson Breast Cancer Trust and are open to ALL women with a history of cancer ( not only breast cancer)

You can attend one class or two a week- fully funded for all women with a history of (any type of) cancer.
PINC- fitness programmes for women with cancer
One to One physiotherapy - rehabilitation for women with a history of cancer
The programme may include: exercise programme, massage, lymphoedema massage, manual therapy
Funding may be available via the PINC and STEEL trust and you can apply via the website: www.pincandsteel.com
STEEL- restrengthening programmes for men with cancer
One to One physiotherapy-rehabilitation for men with a history of (any type of) cancer.
Focus is on re- gaining strength and fitness.
You will be given an individual exercise programme- circuit style
Funding for both Pinc and Steel one-to-one physiotherapy may be available from the Pinc and Steel Trust.

January 2017- the clinic is fully operational over the summer ;) Pilates classes are starting again from 9 January.
Appointments are not always available on the day, but we will do our best to fit you in as soon as possible and are happy to give you some advice on how to manage in the meantime over the phone.

Pilates class: Mondays 4.15 PM- suitable for beginners to intermediate levels
Bowling Club rooms at Hiawhata lane, off Commercial St. Parking is at the Bowling Club parking place- access from Lake View Dr and follow the sign
no need to bring a mat but you can bring your own if you have one. Bring a water bottle and towel
Class equipment and hand outs provided
Cost will be $12 per class or $10 per class for a pre- paid 10 session card

there is always a lot of fundraising going on in our small community so I am careful not to overload you with fundraising efforts, but this the Pinc and Steel Trust is a cause I fully support and want to help: I am joining my Nelson colleagues in February for the Move Over Cancer Nelson challenge- City Fitness is helping us put on a number of inspiring classes and you can join in one or all to raise funds for the Trust: funds raised will be used to provide rehabilitation for people in our are who need physiotherapy after a cancer diagnosis. the link below will show you what is happening- or keep an eye on my facebook page: Golden Bay Community Health Physiotherapy
